Daniel Nelson created Nelson Productions LLC as a format for Irish Dancers to have an opportunity to perform locally and on a major platform.  Whether it will be in the yearly Christmas show tour of "An Irish Dancing Christmas" performed in Colonial Williamsburg and surrounding environs or in his professional scale performance of "Irish Mystique" the excitement of Irish music combined with heart pounding Irish Dance will be the focus of every show.
    Daniel has quite a colorful background in Irish dance and music.  He began Irish Dance classes in 2001 and started competing in 2006 and went to his first major championship Dec. 2006 and became the Southern Regional Champion in his age level.     He became Southern Regional Champion for the second time in Dec. 2008.  He has qualified for World's 7 times and gone to the World's Championships in 2010 in Dublin, Ireland and 2011 in Belfast, Ireland.  He has also competed at Nationals in Canada.  He is currently competing at the highest level of dance.
    For over 20 years he has been playing guitar and composing music.  He taught himself how to play many Irish instruments and incorporates them in the many CD's he has made. Over the past few years he has recorded over 7 Irish Dance CD's. Daniel is also an accomplished choreographer with many performance oriented Irish Dances to his credit.
    Joining Daniel on his performance tours are many talented musicians and dancers including the amazing fiddler Chelle Fulk, percussionist Christopher McCarney, brass and bass expert Michael Kazalski, and the wonderful band Keltish. The dance troupe features champion and prizewinner dancers from the US and UK including experienced world class performers. Kathy Nelson joins the team as assistant Choreographer for the Christmas show and as Executive Manager for the business.
